Responsibilities
- Ensure residents are treated with respect, maintaining their rights to privacy, dignity, and choice at all times.
- Provide supervision and support to care assistants, ensuring residents’ needs are met.
- Assess residents’ needs and collaborate with the Nurse and Management to formulate care plans.
- Support the Home Manager and Nurse to uphold the highest standards of care in accordance with care plans, National Care Standards, and SSSC Codes of Practice.
Qualifications
- SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
- Training in Medication Administration.
- Previous experience as a senior in the care sector.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
