We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Renaissance Care. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and valued.
Role: 30 hours a week, with weekend working required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in personal rooms, en-suites, and communal areas such as lounge, dining, and bathrooms.
- Ensure the residents’ environment is clean, tidy, homely, and welcoming.
- Build and develop meaningful relationships with residents, and include them in daily activities where possible.
- Respect and safeguard residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experiential background in a similar domestic assistance role or sector.
- Good understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a respectful approach to residents’ wellbeing.
