We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care (Scotland) Ltd. We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Kingsmills for 33 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and encourage the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection.
  • Take a primary role in creating and updating resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalised with what’s meaningful to the individual.
  • Promote the values and virtue of our Inclusion Charter to ensure residents are at the core of their care.
  • Promote compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment.
  • Induct new care staff, supervise the care team, conduct training, and support new/junior team members to deliver quality personalised care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
  • Medication administration training would be preferred.
  • At least one year's experience working in a care setting in a similar role.
  • Aware of, and adherence to, the SSSC Codes of Practice; preferably registered with the SSSC.
