We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our team in Whitecraigs for contracts of 33.75 hours a week. Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, they support and encourage meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. Our Care Assistants who cover night shifts are essential, and will participate in person‑centred activities, particularly through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.
Key Responsibilities

- Cover night shifts; participate in person‑centred activities, particularly 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.
- Ensure the highest quality, person‑centred care for all residents – supporting the delivery of each individual care plan.
- Promote independence and choice of residents and ensure their voice is heard through all elements of care and support.
- Assist with personal care, promote a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration, support meaningful connections and create 1:1 meaningful activities.
- Uphold the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion.
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
Qualifications
Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
