We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our team in Cranford Care Home for 33 hours a week.

Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, supporting and encouraging meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. They participate in person-centred activities, outings, and events, promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents. The Care Assistant role is to ensure the highest quality, person-centred care for all residents, supporting the delivery of each individual care plan. The role promotes residents’ independence and choices, ensuring their voices are heard through all elements of care and support. No two days are the same, offering variety and versatility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Promoting positive mealtime experiences to enhance nutrition and hydration
  • Supporting meaningful activities
  • Creating 1:1 meaningful moments

Requirements:

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate, and Inclusion. You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
