We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.

As Deputy Manager you will assist in managing the Home’s operation to meet or exceed targets while ensuring high quality care is delivered. You will be responsible for managing staff in the care home and expected to take over full management in the absence of the Home Manager.

You will help train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work through direct teaching and by example. You will assist the Home Manager with pre‑admission assessments of residents, ensuring residents’ care plans and daily records are maintained, and promoting good liaison with the relatives of residents and outside agencies.

You are a qualified registered Nurse with a current NMC registration. You have an SVQ 4 Management qualification, or are willing to work towards this. You have been working in a similar role for at least one year, and can work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and lead them in the absence of the Home Manager.

Consideration will be given to those who do not hold NMC but instead have SSSC at the required level and suitable experience; however, the pay rate for a non‑clinical deputy will be £18.58 per hour.
