We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care (Scotland) Ltd. We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Croftbank for 33 hours per week working nights.

Our care team is at the forefront of resident engagement, quality care and lifestyle opportunities – making sure that physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing is supported for all residents. The role of Care Team Lead is to promote and encourage the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection.

As a Care Team Lead, you are encouraged to take a primary role in creating and updating resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalised with what's meaningful to the individual. Promoting the values and virtue of our Inclusion Charter to ensure residents are at the very core of their care.

Care Team Leads are responsible for upholding care standards and leading by example when supervising the wider care team. Some of the key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Promoting compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment
  • Helping to induct new care staff
  • Supervising the care team
  • Conducting training
  • Supporting new/junior members of the team to deliver quality personalised care

Requirements: To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care. Medication administration training would be preferred, as well as at least one year's experience working in a care setting in a similar role. You will be aware of, and adhere to, the SSSC Codes of Practice and, preferably, be registered with the SSSC.
