Housekeeper (Riverside)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team domestic team at Renaissance Care. In this role, you will set and lead standards to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring they feel at home and value

Hours of work: 30 per week

We encourage our housekeepers to engage with residents to help them feel included and involved in the care home setting. Creating meaningful interactions with residents has positive outcomes for their wellbeing. The primary purpose is to create a united approach to creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents to thrive within.

As a housekeeper in our care home, you will lead by example, setting high standards for cleanliness and inspiring our domestic and laundry teams to achieve exceptional results through all areas of the home. Your role involves coordinating and supervising the teams to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and efficiency in all areas, in line with COSHH regulations.

Requirements

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion . Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role or sector and a solid understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with your team while also having the confidence to work independently when needed. A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. You must also be respectful of our residents\’ dignity and privacy, always maintaining their right to confidentiality.
