We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant (or someone with a background in hospitality) to join our team in Rosepark for 24 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious and healthy meals.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to cater to the preferences and dietary needs of residents, including those with special dietary requirements.
- Set up and clear dining areas, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in all kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
- Help keep the kitchen and equipment clean and ensure all safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
- Engage with residents to build meaningful connections, supporting a hospitality‑style approach to catering and helping to develop seasonal menus that promote choice and independence.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
- Have a good eye for detail and ideally experience in a similar environment.
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Knowledge of proper use of kitchen equipment as well as COSHH and HACCP regulations.
