We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Benvie for 44 hours per week - Nights.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all our residents are treated with respect, that their rights to privacy, dignity and right of choice are maintained at all times.
- Providing supervision and support to care assistants, ensuring all residents' needs are met.
- Assessing residents' needs and having input with the Nurse and Management in formulating residents' care plans.
- Supporting the Home Manager and Nurse in charge in maintaining the highest standards of care in accordance with the care plan, National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
Qualifications
- SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
- Trained in Medication Administration.
- Previous experience as a senior in the care sector.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
