We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team at Benvie Care Home for 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the Home’s operation in order to meet, or exceed targets whilst ensuring high quality care is delivered.
- Responsible for the management of staff in the care home & expected to take over full management in the absence of the Home Manager.
- Help train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work through direct teaching and by example.
- Involved in assisting the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring residents care plans and daily records are maintained for each resident and promoting good liaison with the relatives of residents and outside agencies.
Qualifications
- Qualified registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
- SVQ 4 Management qualification or willing to work towards this.
- Currently working in a similar role for at least one year.
- Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and lead them in the absence of the Home Manager.
