We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Riverside for 33 hours per week - Nights.
The main responsibilities will be ensuring all our residents are treated with respect, that their rights to privacy, dignity and right of choice are maintained at all times. You will provide supervision and support to care assistants, ensuring all residents' needs are met. You will assess residents' needs and have input with the Nurse and Management in formulating residents' care plans. You will support the Home Manager and Nurse in charge in maintaining the highest standards of care in accordance with the care plan, National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
To be considered for this role you must have your SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care as well as be trained in Medication Administration. You will have previous experience as a senior in the care sector, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
