As a Junior Buyer, you will be involved in the creation of comprehensive seasonal range plans, leveraging extensive sales analysis, as well as trend and market research. You will play an integral part in the full product lifecycle, from initial sampling through to bulk production, ensuring each new collection is developed in line with Brand DNA, and that the appropriate quality standard is achieved and maintained. You will be involved in the sourcing of fabrics, trims and accessories, play an integral part in the product development process, and be a key liaison with an international supply base.
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, with a strong eye for fashion. The role will require the successful candidate to have:
- Previous experience in a buying role is desirable.
- Previous experience of preparing and planning a garment collection is desirable.
- Experience of sourcing and selection of fabric, trims and accessories is desirable.
- Excellent IT ability is essential.
- Strong capability with MS Office packages is desirable.
- University level qualification is essential.
- A full driving licence, valid passport and the willingness to travel when required.
