Position Summary: Primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services. The MHC uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Experience: Required: If a new graduate, supervised-post graduate counseling experience (internship) with specified direct client contact under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor. Otherwise, 1 year of experience.
Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
