Position Summary
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies of the organization. This is a Nursing Service position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. RN new graduates must have a temporary license in the state of Utah. Must in their last semester of a nursing program.
The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred
- Must have a current valid Utah nursing license, compact state license or Utah apprentice RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within6 monthsof hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
