Our client helps enterprises discover, assess, and respond to third-party and supply-chain risks through advanced AI-driven analytics and intelligence. Their mission is to deliver continuous, data-backed visibility into the extended enterprise, enabling organisations to identify vulnerabilities, map their digital ecosystems, and make informed decisions about vendor and partner risks.

We are looking for a UX Researcher to lead end-to-end user research and help us deeply understand our customers’ workflows, mental models, and pains. You will partner closely with Product and Design to shape what we build and why.

What You Will Do

  • Own the research roadmap for key product areas and define priorities with Product & UX.
  • Plan and run mixed‑method research (interviews, usability tests, surveys, discovery studies).
  • Recruit and manage participants, especially technical personas (security engineers, CISOs, DevOps, IT admins).
  • Turn insights into decisions by synthesising findings into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with PMs and Designers from problem framing through solution validation.
  • Create and maintain research artefacts (personas, journey maps, service blueprints, opportunity maps).
  • Set up and scale research practices (templates, playbooks, insight repositories, tagging).
  • Support evaluative UX work (usability tests on prototypes/live flows + actionable interaction feedback).
  • Champion the user: bring insights into planning, design reviews, and product decisions.
  • Measure impact: define success metrics with Product/Analytics and connect research to product outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years in UX research, product research, or HCI within SaaS or product‑led organisations.
  • Experience with both generative and evaluative research.
  • Background working on complex B2B or technical products (developer tools, cloud, security, infrastructure).
  • Strong with core research methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys, concept/prototype testing).
  • Comfortable with light quantitative analysis (task success rates, SUS, satisfaction scores).
  • Able to independently plan, run, and synthesise research end‑to‑end.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for technical and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with remote, asynchronous collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Good to Have

  • Experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, cloud security, or compliance.
  • Academic background in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or related fields.
  • Experience with research repositories (Dovetail, Airtable, Notion).
  • Familiarity with Figma/Sketch to prepare or tweak prototypes for testing.
  • Experience in startups or scale‑ups.
