Our client is a well-established, publicly listed global financial technology company operating across multiple continents, serving a large international customer base and delivering innovative digital financial solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Engineer to join their Client Platform team and play a key role in building high-performance mobile applications while driving AI-powered engineering and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise high-performance React Native applications.
- Improve UI architecture, application performance, and cross-platform consistency.
- Build and integrate AI-assisted developer tools for coding, testing, deployment, and defect triage.
- Drive automation across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Implement best practices around Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with product, QA, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage, defect detection, and engineering productivity.
- Mentor developers and promote modern engineering practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in mobile application architecture, performance optimisation, and reusable component development.
- Strong understanding of TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile engineering practices.
- Experience managing the complete software development lifecycle, from design to production support.
- Practical experience evaluating or using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code or similar LLM-based solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for engineering automation.
Good to Have
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), agentic AI tooling, or Spec-Driven Development.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and their APIs.
- Knowledge of Java or a comparable backend technology.
- Previous experience in fintech, trading platforms, or regulated environments.
