As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will:
- Lead the DevSecOps practices and processes within the organization.
- Develop and implement DevSecOps strategies for the organization.
- Mentor other engineers in the adoption of Cybersecurity best practices.
- Work with development and operations teams to automate security-based principles.
- Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
- Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.
- Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients' servers.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer, with strong emphasis on Cybersecurity.
- 8+ years of experience working as DevSecOps Engineer.
- Strong competence with Network Architecture and related technologies in AWS and/or Azure.
- Cybersecurity competence in SAST, DAST, SIEM, SSO, penetration testing, implementing cybersecurity controls.
- Experience with Cybersecurity Incident Response protocols.
- Competence in cryptographic controls, such as SSH key handling, logging, and auditing.
- Competence with Key Management Service, key rotation solutions, and automation.
- Candidates with AWS, Azure and/or Security certifications will be prioritized, especially AWS Certified Security, AWS Certified Advanced Networking. Additional certifications in Cybersecurity and/or Networking (CCNA, CCNP, etc) are highly desirable.
- Experience designing & building solutions with strong focus on AWS Security and Network services.
- Strong competence in AWS Guard Duty, Config, Security Hub, Inspector, Control Tower, IAM policies, VPC Flow Logs, as well as corresponding services in Azure.
- Competence in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and configuration management.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of standard DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience required in development, deployment, and production environments.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of security issues.
- Superb communication skills in English and a passion for working collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservice deployment and monitoring.
- Proven experience as Cloud Solutions Architect.
- High competence with AWS Well Architected Framework.
- Experience working with different public cloud providers (GCP, MS Azure) and hybrid or on-premises environments.
- Competence in Kubernetes, with an emphasis on Security. Candidates with CKS certification will be prioritized.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (i.e. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Expertise in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters as well as experience deploying applications to Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm charts and ArgoCD. Candidates with CKA, CKAD, CKS certifications will be prioritized.
- Familiarity with Rancher or similar K8s management tools is desirable.
- Competency with service meshes, preferably Istio Gateway.
- Experience deploying SaaS solutions.
- Database experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions, to support our MLOps practice.
- Experience creating and administering release management processes and integration with source control management and best practices.
