We are looking for a Senior Developer / Tech Lead for a fast growing and profitable startup from Norway. This is a Fully Remote role.
A small fun, very profitable ecommerce startup with turnover of 70 and 80 million kroner. You will be working directly with the CTO and Founders.
As a Tech Lead / Senior Developer, you will be able to control solution architecture and technology choices, and play a central role in how the company develops. Systems consist of a self-developed e-commerce platform to handle several thousand orders every day. It is very important to have a rock-solid, simple and stable solutions for our many customers and employees. You will be our only developer and therefore play a very central role in the company. You will work closely with the CTO to set new courses and develop new features. In addition, you get a really good group of colleagues in different disciplines.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in frontend development using Next.js and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and experience with Java backend development.
- Experience with NGINX configuration and administration.
- Familiarity with Unix-based systems and server management tools (systemd, ssh, bash scripting).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
- Experience working with databases, including HSQLDB and sqlite3.
- Familiarity with Next.js pages router and dynamic routing concepts.
- Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
