What This Job Can Offer You
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Payroll Project Manager, joining our Payroll team, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external parties to deliver outstanding payroll services to our employees and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the successful implementation of our API-first payroll engines in our biggest markets.
- Develop, define and maintain project plans and schedules, to ensure they comprehensively cover all aspects of the implementation in the given country.
- Oversee project execution to ensure delivery in desired timeframe.
- Maintain project status communication with all the stakeholders and ensure expectations are set and mutually understood.
- Work with Exec team and Senior Leaders to facilitate the involvement of the correct resource to enable the project plan to be achieved.
- Use creative and effective approaches to drive the project forward.
- Document and communicate project outcome to ensure quality standards are met.
What you bring
- Solid understanding of Agile Project Management principles and methodology and experience with project management software (Monday.com is a plus).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. You are good at coordinating teammates and third parties/vendors/freelancers for the flawless execution of projects.
- You are an excellent communicator, both in writing and speaking. You can effectively communicate project expectations, motivate the team, and command the attention of a group. You feel comfortable communicating with the exec level about performance, expected closing dates, progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Extensive experience leading HR software implementation projects, preferably including payroll and T&A modules.
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- It\’s not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

The base salary range for this full-time position is £56,150-£63,200 GBP. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
