The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Payroll Compliance Documentation Specialist , joining our Payroll team, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding payroll services to our employees and customers.

What you bring

  • Strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Your will have 3 year+ experience within either a Payroll or Audit environment.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills: written and spoken
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • It\’s not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze documentation needs, evaluate effectiveness of current documentation and provide proactive recommendations to ensure a high performance culture.
  • Document and build a library of standard operating procedures (SOPs) around payroll compliance, audit framework and payroll risk management.
  • Work on payroll compliance monitoring trackers and prepare data-driven periodic reports
  • Become an expert in the payroll documentation, audit and risk framework at Remote.
  • Support the wider team with projects and incidents to transform and improve compliance and processes.

We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

    The base salary range for this full-time position is between 33,000$ to 74,000$. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
