As a Senior Workday Implementation Specialist on the Global Payroll Implementation team, you will implement and integrate multiple new customers onto Remote's Global Payroll platform, where Workday serves as the core HCM system. You will work closely with customers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and seamless delivery within agreed timescales.
What You Bring
- Proven experience implementing or integrating Workday HCM, ideally within a global payroll or HRIS context.
- Strong understanding of Workday modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Integrations.
- Experience delivering end‐to‐end payroll implementations leveraging Workday as the source of truth.
- Demonstrated ability to map and validate data between Workday and external payroll systems.
- Excellent knowledge of global payroll operations, statutory compliance, and multi‐country payroll setup.
- Strong customer onboarding and project management experience for complex, multi‐entity implementations.
- Advanced data management skills (Google Sheets or Excel).
- Analytical, detail‐oriented mindset with strong problem‐solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, international environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and relationship‐building skills with a customer‐first mindset.
- Self‐starter, comfortable working independently and asynchronously across time zones.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience working remotely is a plus.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Notion, Slack, Salesforce, or other payroll platforms is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‐to‐end Workday payroll integrations for large and complex customers.
- Serve as the primary technical and functional point of contact for customers implementing Remote's Global Payroll integrated with Workday.
- Analyze customers' Workday environments to understand data structures, configurations, and dependencies for integration.
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and validation between Workday and Remote's platform.
- Partner with customers' HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams to align HCM‐to‐Payroll data flows.
- Configure Remote's Payroll system on a customer‐by‐customer basis, ensuring local regulations and tax requirements.
- Coordinate and validate parallel payroll runs, reconciliations, and year‐to‐date adjustments.
- Oversee payroll go‐live readiness and transition customers to Payroll Operations teams.
- Provide training and guidance on integration processes, data mapping, and payroll best practices.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and process optimisation.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of customer and employee data.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with Remote's standards.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this full‐time position is €75,000 – €84,000 EUR, adjusted for location, skills, and market demand. Equity and benefits are included under Remote's Total Rewards philosophy, ensuring fair, unbiased compensation and pay equity.
