Your Role:
The Events & Run Communities Coordinator UK/IE supports the execution of marketing events in the UK & Ireland, working closely with the UK/IE Events and Communications Manager and the broader marketing team. You will coordinate various marketing channels, including partners, retail, influencers, and events, to deliver Brooks events aligned with brand guidelines. You will activate marketing activities and manage relationships with physical running communities and ambassadors, including the Brooks Running Collective. This position reports to the UK/IE Events and Communications Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
- Events & Communities: Coordinate and execute Brooks running events in the UK & Ireland, including parkrun, partner events like the Great North Run, retail and PR events. Monitor success against objectives and KPIs, and support reporting. Liaise with Tech Reps and support event kit management. Ensure marketing plans and activations are followed with running communities, including social content and seeding. Support in real-life activations and audit event collateral.
- Influencers: Support the implementation of the Brooks Running Collective Influencer strategy, coordinate gifting and kit distribution, and generate insights using tracking tools. Manage relationships with ambassadors and other influencers as directed.
- General Support: Assist in completing quarterly marketing reports, track seeding orders, and support broader marketing activities across digital media, PR, influencers, events, and eCommerce as needed.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in brand, footwear, retail, or lifestyle sectors.
- Understanding of brand building and integrated marketing.
- Knowledge of marketing channels and brands.
- Willingness to travel and attend meetings and events.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Passion for running and active lifestyles.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Availability to work at least 2 days per week in the office, plus approximately 30 weekend days per year, with days off in lieu.
