About the role
Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems for global enterprises. The Senior Partner Sales Manager will work with Canonical Global System Integrator partners to drive Ubuntu based solutions, manage economic terms, and build long term digital transformation platforms with Ubuntu stacks and services.
What you\'ll do
- Build strategic relationships with GSI partners at multiple levels
- Lead partner engagement across sales cycles and coordinate with engineers and executives
- Evangelize the partnership, run customer workshops, and participate in executive engagements
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with partners
- Collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to meet targets
- Travel as needed, occasionally internationally, up to 40

- Experience with OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and cloud technologies
