Our UK based client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to take full ownership of their marketing function. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building brand presence, driving engagement, and managing multiple marketing channels end to end.
About the Role
You will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn-led content, brand storytelling, video marketing, podcast promotion, and digital advertising. This role goes beyond content creation—it requires strategic thinking, confident decision-making, and the ability to manage external partners such as PR agencies while working closely with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the company’s entire marketing operation
- Plan, create, and schedule high-quality written content, particularly for LinkedIn
- Develop and manage a consistent daily LinkedIn posting strategy across multiple senior stakeholders
- Create and oversee video-based content (short-form, TikTok-style videos adapted for LinkedIn)
- Edit and manage video content using tools such as Descript
- Manage and optimise social media scheduling using platforms such as Orca
- Drive community engagement by commenting, interacting, and building visibility on LinkedIn
- Manage and liaise with external PR agencies, ensuring alignment with brand messaging
- Oversee and manage the company podcast, including guest research and outreach, scheduling and coordination, and supporting promotional content and episode marketing
- Support the planning and execution of paid advertising campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads)
- Monitor performance, engagement, and brand growth, continuously refining the approach
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role (experience managing marketing end to end is essential)
- Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to write compelling, professional content
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a marketing and brand-building platform
- Experience with social media strategy, engagement, and content scheduling
- Comfortable creating and managing video content
- Experience working with or managing external agencies (PR or marketing partners)
- Familiarity with tools such as Descript, social media schedulers, and video platforms
- Highly organised, proactive, and confident working autonomously
- Reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a professional home working setup
