Medical Supplier to a niche global market seeks Warehouse Operative to join our small but growing team to assist across all day-to-day warehouse functions.
Candidates should be able to work in a busy, physically demanding role dealing with all aspects of warehouse work including picking/packing of orders and the processing of incoming and outgoing stock.
The role will require a high level of accuracy in completing delegated tasks plus the ability to work under pressure and proactively both within the team and independently.
Candidate must be honest, self-motivated and reliable with a willingness to learn. We are a small growing company and are seeking candidates looking for longer term career development within a niche but interesting industry.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment an advantage. Good communication skills both written and verbal essential plus basic proficiency in Word/Excel. Good command of English is essential.
Internal training shall be provided and carried out through practical on-the-job learning.
Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Goods in receipt - checking and confirming all received stock is correct
- Picking & Packing of orders
- Bar coding / labelling / tagging of stock
- Loading and unloading of stock deliveries and client orders
- Efficiently completing all activities as delegated
- Maintaining tidiness and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Organisation and rotation of all stock, including cycle counts and reporting discrepancies
- Liaising with quality control and purchasing for returned / damaged / incorrect stock.
- Proactively assist across all aspect of the business as needed.
- Adhering to all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements as given by the company's Quality Management System
