The Remote Healthcare Provider (RHCP) is responsible for delivering high-quality primary, urgent, and emergency medical care in austere and remote worksite environments. This role serves as the on-site medical authority, providing clinical assessment, emergency stabilization, patient management, and medical evacuation coordination for workforce personnel. The RHCP ensures full clinic readiness, regulatory compliance, accurate medical reporting, and close collaboration with client EHS and operations teams while promoting workforce health, safety, and wellness in accordance with project Scope of Work (SOW) and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency, urgent, and primary medical care at remote industrial worksites
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, examinations, and ongoing patient monitoring
- Act as on-site medical lead during emergencies and coordinate medevac and patient transfers
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using RMI EHR systems
- Ensure clinic readiness, including medical equipment, medicines, and consumables
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checks and controlled substance management
- Report medical treatments, case classifications, and notifiable diseases per client and regulatory requirements
- Liaise directly with client EHS, operations teams, and global medical coordination centers
- Conduct workforce medical inductions, Fit-to-Work assessments, and health surveillance
- Administer drug & alcohol screening and immunization programs as required
- Deliver first-aid training, emergency drills, and health promotion initiatives
- Ensure compliance with RHCP Guidelines, RCM, MERP, FOM, and SOW requirements
Qualifications
- HSE Offshore Medic or Licenced Nurse/Paramedic
- HSE Offshore Medic certificate
- GWO Basic Safety Training
- RTW in UK
- Minimum 2 years independent clinical experience
- BLS/CPR, ACLS (AHA or equivalent)
- OEUK (or equivalent) medical certification
