Production Technician (Pressure Testing)

Overview

Tennial Personnel are actively seeking detail-oriented Production Technicians with pressure testing experience to join a growing, family-run manufacturing business based in Risby, near Bury St Edmunds. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity following a successful 12-week working period, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour unpaid break, offering an hourly rate of £13.00-£14.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pressure testing of assembled products in line with defined procedures
• Support mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations as required
• Use calibrated hand tools, including torque tools, to specification
• Work to production schedules, engineering drawings, and test documentation
• Carry out visual inspections and assist with quality checks
• Accurately record test results and build documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment
• Support all areas of production when required
• Report any safety, quality, or process issues promptly

Skills Required

• Proven experience carrying out pressure testing in an industrial environment
• Strong understanding of test discipline, safety controls, and procedures
• Ability to follow technical documentation and test instructions
• Flexible, team-oriented approach to work
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Qualifications Required

• Pressure testing qualification or certification (preferred)
• Background within manufacturing, assembly, or test environments
