Are you a delivery leader who thrives on transforming teams, elevating delivery, and driving meaningful change?
We’re helping a fast-growing Lloyd’s market insurer find someone exactly like you—someone who brings agility, emotional intelligence, and leadership clarity to the complex world of modern insurance delivery.
Agile Delivery & Leadership Lead:
Lead empowered squads, connect delivery to purpose, and help reshape how insurance gets built.
You’ll be working in lockstep with a newly appointed CIO who’s laying the foundation for a future-ready tech team, backed by full CEO sponsorship and secured funding. With strategic funding and leadership buy-in, this is a business deeply committed to change, and you’ll be right at the heart of it - ensuring ideas turn into impact, fast.
People-first and outcome-driven. You bring energy, empathy, and direction helping teams grow and deliver at pace.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape Agile Ways of Working - not by the book, but by what works. You’ll run retros people care about, rituals that drive momentum, and create space for teams to grow.
- Lead Three High-Impact Squads delivering across core and data platforms - coaching, unblocking, and enabling them to do their best work.
- Build Transparency & Trust , improving how teams communicate internally and externally - even when pressure’s high or priorities shift.
- Tackle Key Strategic Projects , including: Standing up a new data platform to unify policyholder data, collaborating with Artificial Labs to cut submission processing time to ~30 minutes, driving innovation in mobility and rideshare underwriting, moving toward real-time decisioning, and supporting Power BI reporting and dashboard development across the organization.
- Navigate Legacy and Modern Tech Landscapes —helping teams adapt, integrate, and stay focused through technical evolution.
- Coach Through Change , including partnering with a seasoned Enterprise Architect and Change function both going through their own transformations. You’ll be a calm, positive force in the room - never reactive, always intentional.
What You Bring:
- Deep insurance experience , especially in product, delivery, or platform environments.
- Genuine agile leadership - you lead teams, not processes, and you know when to push and when to step back.
- Outstanding ET - able to build trust quickly, have the hard conversations, and lift morale when things feel stuck.
- Stakeholder maturity - comfortable engaging execs and shifting priorities without losing focus.
- Delivery clarity - whether you\'re talking with engineers, underwriters, analysts or the CEO, you bring structure and calm to complexity.
- Collaborative by nature - focused on outcomes, team success, and long-term value.
If you’re passionate about leading empowered teams, enabling agile transformation, and delivering real outcomes—we want to hear from you.
