🎯 The Role
As a Founding Backend Engineer, you’ll have the autonomy to design, develop, and build highly scalable, high-performance applications that will shape the future of compliance software. You’ll tackle complex challenges that have a meaningful impact on our customers, working closely with the founding team to influence our roadmap.

- Architect and build backend services that scale to handle high volumes of traffic.
- Solve real-world problems in financial crime detection and risk management.
- Write high-quality, testable, and readable code that powers our platform.
- Take ownership of projects and break down large, complex problems into implementable solutions.

Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience, collaborating across teams and functions.
- Proven track record of leading projects successfully end-to-end
- Experience writing web applications in languages like TypeScript, Go, Java, Python, or similar.
- You care deeply about customer needs and the finer product details.
- You have a problem-solving mindset and a thirst for learning new things.
- Strong foundation in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (DynamoDB, Redis).
- You understand scalable architectures and how to design systems for performance.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills.

- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Experience in building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
