The Account Manager role is a pivotal part of the team and is focused on tactically growing sales and market share across an established sales region. The role is remote / field based, including:
- Growing sales for the company’s premium range of protective wood stains, joinery paints and wood finishes.
- Managing and developing a warm established account base of end user, manufacturer and distributor accounts.
- Providing technical and product guidance to customers (supported by in-house technical specialists).
- Identifying commercial opportunities and setting structured plans to grow sales revenues across accounts of all sizes.
- Building profitable partnerships with existing and new distribution partners across the UK.
- Making a positive contribution to the company's UK growth strategy - both with commercial ideas and increased sales results.
The Person Needed: For the Account Manager role, our client offers structured training and support to develop new recruits. But the successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong business to business field sales experience, and a track record of building relationships with senior and influential stakeholders.
- Prior experience working in an associated technical product market or environment e.g. joinery, timber, wood, woodworking, paints, coatings, finishes or similar field.
