We are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one outreach tuition to children and young people in Thurrock. This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them build confidence, develop their skills and make positive progress.
We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), qualified tutor or relevant teaching experience
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Experience with challenging behaviour, SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other additional needs would be advantageous
- A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and provide engaging one-to-one tuition
- A current DBS or willingness to undergo the appropriate safeguarding checks
