School Business Manager required for a large SEN school based in Lambeth - September 2026.
At Remedy Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff to work in all kinds of roles in schools for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic School Business Manager to work full-time at a fantastic SEN school based in Lambeth, South East London.
We are looking for an innovative, efficient and cost-effective business manager to lead the school on a long term basis. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 35 hours a week, term time only.
As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the non-teaching-related running of the school, as part of a dynamic school management team. Your duties as a Business Manager can include:
- As part of the Senior Leadership Team, assist the Head Teacher and Governors to ensure that the Academy meets its educational aims from a business and resourcing perspective.
- Accountable for the effective management of the Academy’s financial resources at a strategic and tactical level, ensuring the most effective use of resources in support of the Academy’s learning objectives.
- Accountable for the management of property, facilities and the administration policy of the Academy.
- Accountable for HR processes, recruitment and staff absence management across the Academy.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Relevant experience as an SBL/CFO or similar role.
- Minimum level 2 (GCSE 4-9 or A*-C) in Maths and English.
- Diploma or certificate in school business managers qualification.
