We are urgently seeking an experienced Safeguarding Administrator to support our safeguarding and pastoral teams. This is a critical role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with sensitivity and professionalism.

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Location: Brent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the safeguarding inbox, ensuring timely responses and escalation where necessary
  • Oversee the school’s filtering and monitoring system, including allocating detentions in line with policy
  • Attend safeguarding-related meetings such as TAFs, professional meetings, and multi‑agency discussions
  • Conduct check‑ins with vulnerable students, maintaining accurate notes and following procedures
  • Make referrals to external agencies as directed by the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Coordinate and facilitate visits from social workers and other external professionals
  • Support morning registration, including managing late arrivals

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a safeguarding, pastoral, or school administrative role
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding processes and confidentiality protocols
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Confident in dealing with sensitive information and vulnerable young people
