We are currently recruiting for a strong and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in South East London for a September / ASAP start. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and making a genuine impact within a structured and inclusive learning environment.
The school is looking for somebody confident, resilient, and engaging, with the ability to deliver creative and differentiated lessons to students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with SEN across a range of abilities
- Creating a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies
- Working closely with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and external professionals
- Supporting pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Contributing to EHCP targets, progress reviews, and individual learning plans
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have previous SEN teaching experience
- Be confident supporting students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs
- Be patient, adaptable, and emotionally resilient
- Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
