Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a vibrant and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school for a one-term cover role working within KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small, supportive class environment, making a real impact on pupils with additional needs.
The Role
- Teach a KS2 class with a maximum of 6 pupils with mixed abilities.
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Create hands-on, interactive learning environment, incorporating play and practical activities.
- Support pupils with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
- Work closely with support staff to ensure pupils are fully supported.
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- At least 2 years’ experience working with SEN pupils.
- Experience working within small groups or specialist settings.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to fully engage in all aspects of school life.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
