Position Overview: Remedy Health and Performance is in search of a skilled and dedicated physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. As a Remedy Physio, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing rehabilitation programs, addressing injuries, and facilitating the recovery process for people who want to maximise their potential. We also treat a range of clients with chronic, palliative and degenerative conditions who work hard with us to maintain the highest level of function, independence and quality of life based on what is most important to them. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in rehabilitation and conservative management with the ability to work flexibly with a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify injuries, limitations, and movement dysfunctions among clients, considering their unique needs and goals.
- Rehabilitation Planning: Design and implement individualised rehabilitation programs that incorporate evidence-based practices to address injuries, improve function, and enhance quality of life.
- Manual Therapy: Administer a range of hands-on techniques and manual therapies to promote healing, reduce pain, and restore mobility.
- Exercise Prescription: Develop and prescribe targeted therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination, tailored to each client's specific condition.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other health and performance professionals within the Remedy team, including sports therapists, podiatrists, and others.
