Remedy Tutors are looking for passionate, experienced tutors to support students in Barking & Dagenham with Maths, English, and Science. Many of the young people we work with have additional needs or require a more personalised approach, so your impact goes far beyond academics.

About the Role

• Deliver one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs
• Support students in homes, community spaces, or online
• Help learners with gaps in education, SEND, SEMH needs, or low confidence
• Track progress and provide clear monthly reports
• Occasionally use creative or practical learning activities to make lessons engaging and memorable

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified tutors or teachers with relevant experience
• Expertise in Core subjects like Maths, English, or Science
• Patient, adaptable, and student-focused
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs is highly valued
• Motivated to see students thrive and succeed
• Teaching qualifications such as QTS or PGCE are a plus, but strong tutoring experience can also be considered.
