Our client Wrexham County Borough Council is looking for a Children's Team Manager to join their Family Support Team.

The Family Support Team (FST) is a social work team that supports children and families who are open to Children's Social Care. The FST’s responsibilities include:

  • Care and Support Plans
  • Providing robust support to families and children to ensure best outcomes are met
  • Management of Child Protection Plans
  • Public Law Outline
  • Taking cases to the first court hearing

We are looking for someone with strong management skills to lead a staff team of 15 social workers, 3 social care assessors, and 3 assistant team managers.
