Our client Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for a Team Manager to join their MASH service.

MASH Manager managers the day to day function of the service for all new referrals for children and families.

They supervise Senior practitioners and Social workers and have overall responsibly for their team.

They are on a duty rota to deal with all high risk children and work alongside partners to ensure the right service is initiated when needed to safeguard children.

They work in line with Working together guidance and CA04.

They adhere to policies and procedures and ensure that they work alongside the Early Help team managers.

Main Accountabilities Service Delivery Manage the delivery of a high quality and effective service that responds to the needs of service users and their families or carers in a timely manner within statutory guidelines or service specifications.

Manage the planning, allocation and review of workload so priorities are managed, shortfalls identified and services delivered within capacity and within departmental and partnership policies, procedures and timescales.

Implement policies and procedures in response to statutory guidance, local policies and the needs of service users.

In line with organisational priorities, assume enhanced responsibilities with regard to antonymous decision making and the management of risk, this will include deputising for district and service managers when required.
