Our client Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.
The role includes both public and private law proceedings, alongside child protection planning. We are looking for enthusiastic, relational and motivated practitioners who are able to work in a restorative way, keeping children at the heart of Tameside through support, compassion and a real commitment to achieving better outcomes for our children and young people.
If you have experience of court proceedings and child protection planning where you have been able to work towards and achieve better outcomes for children and young people then we would love to hear from you.
You will have an experienced team manager who is able to offer support and guidance alongside a permanent senior leadership team who are committed to the improvement plan and ensuring social workers are listened to and supported throughout their time at Tameside. All of our workforce has our children and young people at the centre and are working within the 'heart of support' practice approach.
