Our client Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Fostering Duty Team.

We are embarking on an ambitious and inspiring journey to remodel and strengthen our fostering service – and we’re looking for experienced, dynamic Social Workers who are ready to make real impact. Key Responsibilities

As part of our dedicated fostering duty function, you will play a leading role in completing Regulation 24 assessments, viabilities, and kinship checks, ensuring these are completed swiftly, safely, and with confidence. You will lead in driving high standards, reducing delays, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to remain safely within their family network wherever possible. You will be responsive, forward‑thinking, and truly centred around keeping children connected to the people who know and love them.
