Our client Leicestershire County Council is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their edge of care team. These roles require experienced social workers - Level 3, with experience of working with edge of care, and court work, LAC experience.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 37 hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30-5.00 and 8.30 -4.30 Friday, with the expectation of working in the office.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing quick turnaround Child and Family assessments
- Working on child in need and edge of care cases
- Stepping up to CP
- Occasional emergency court work to hand over to Children in Care Team
This role is county wide, with occasional cases involving young people out of county.
