Our client Northamptonshire's Children's Trust is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their prevention and safeguarding team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assessing the needs and risks affecting children and families.
  • Investigating safeguarding concerns, including neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse.
  • Developing and implementing child protection and child-in-need plans.
  • Working closely with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies.
  • Supporting families to address difficulties early and improve outcomes for children.
  • Attending case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings when required.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and reports.
