Our client Bolton Council is looking for a Children s Social Worker to join their Looked after children team.
Responsibilities
- Developing and arranging appropriate leaving care services for service users, their families and carers, and providing direct support where necessary.
- Provision of social work and case management support to service users, their carers and families.
- Liaison with agencies which commission or provide services to ensure service users, their families/carers have access to a range of services appropriate to their needs.
Duties
- Prepare for social work contact and involvement.
- Work with individual families, carers, groups and communities to help them make informed decisions.
- Assess needs and options to recommend a course of action.
- Respond to crisis situations using appropriate legal procedural intervention.
