Our Client, Bolton Council is looking for a Childrens Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team. Candidates must have experience of managing Social Workers and demonstrate understanding and evidence of working in children's Safeguarding Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progressing permanence plans for children, including children subject to child protection plans, children in need, care proceedings and adoption.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of child care law and practice.
  • Evidence based practice in children's social care.
  • Knowledge and evidence of management.
  • Manage one of the six safeguarding teams of six social workers.

  • Full-time role - 37 hours per week.
