Remedy Tutors is recruiting compassionate tutors to support children and young people with a range of additional educational needs.
Students may experience difficulties with communication, social interaction, concentration, emotional regulation or academic progress. Some may have autism, ADHD, dyslexia or SEMH needs.
Responsibilities
Teach both Maths and English.
Deliver lessons tailored to the student's current ability.
Break down learning into manageable activities.
Adapt resources to support individual learning styles.
Encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
Monitor progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
Must be able to teach Maths and English.
SEN/SEND experience is desirable.
Understanding of individual learning needs.
Patient, consistent and adaptable approach.
