An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Locality Social Work team based at Aston Joint Service Centre. This is a full-time position (37 hours, Mon - Fri).
Rotherham is seeking an experienced social worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding children and ensuring their welfare while supporting families through challenging circumstances.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex, but manageable caseload
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
- Participating in child protection processes and court proceedings, presenting good quality written and oral evidence.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognised social work qualification
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection, safeguarding and Court work.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
