Our client, City of Westminster Council, is looking for a Senior Repairs Surveyor to join their Team. Collaborate with the Area Repairs Manager to develop systems for regular property inspections, reactive repairs, and cyclical maintenance. Work with Housing services and repair partners to improve quality and customer satisfaction. Manage resource deployment within the Property Services Division to handle workload fluctuations. Highlight investment needs to the Property Planning and Assets Team for major works programs. Provide technical support and manage the repairs term partnering contract. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and provide expert knowledge on applicable laws. Offer strategic leadership within the Housing portfolio, collaborating with Members, services, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high-quality repairs in residents’ homes and effective service delivery. Manage and resolve complaints and document defects to prevent disrepair claims. Process and manage claims under the Council’s insurance policy. Conduct post inspections of building structures, resident repairs, communal areas, and estates. Use Site Audit Pro or equivalent for inspections, raise orders, manage bookings, and store reports centrally.
