The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Remedy Education are working with specialist SEN schools across Tower Hamlets and Newham who are looking for experienced SEN Teachers to join them from September. We currently have three SEN Teacher roles available across primary and secondary settings. The classes have not yet been fully confirmed, so the schools are open to speaking with teachers who have strong SEN experience and can adapt confidently across different age groups and needs.

These are ASD specialist provisions supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, sensory needs, learning difficulties and associated behaviours. The schools are looking for teachers who can deliver creative, structured and engaging lessons while maintaining a calm, supportive and consistent classroom environment.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils with autism, communication needs and additional learning needs
  • Working closely with TAs, therapists and wider support staff
  • Creating a safe, structured and positive learning environment
  • Full time, long term roles with potential to continue

The Ideal SEN Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status or strong SEN teaching experience
  • Experience working with pupils with ASD and complex needs
  • Confident delivering lessons to pupils working at different levels
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Flexible, patient and resilient
  • Primary or secondary SEN experience welcome
